American Crane & Safety's online rigging training classes meet the OSHA requirements of Qualified Rigger Level 1, Certified Rigger Level 1, and Qualified Signal Person training.
We also offer Entertainment Rigging courses through our AMCandS Entertainment Rigging Training division. We've structured our Basic Entertainment Rigging course in two affordable modules which each earn you 3 ETCP Renewal Credits. Each online course is 3 hours including testing.
All of our online courses allow you to learn at your own pace. You can start the course and take a break when you need to. These multi-media courses are designed with audio education, videos, and feature problem-solving workshops. Each course, except for the Certified Rigger Level 1 Exam, is designed in sections with quizzes along the way to evaluate your progress. All students who complete and pass the courses receive a Certificate of Completion. Students who complete and pass the Certified Rigger Level 1 exam and the Certified Rigger Level 1 Renewal also receive a physical ID card valid for 2 years.
Our Online Qualified Rigger Level 1 Course provides the necessary training to meet the OSHA standards of a Qualified Rigger. This 7 hour online course covers OSHA regulations, the use and inspection of slings, rigging hardware, load weight and other areas critical to understanding and operating a safe job site. This course is recommended for all employees who are working within the fall zone of a load and especially if they are involved in the hooking and unhooking of the load or in the guiding of a load.
The Online Certified Rigger Level 1 is an exam for those students that have completed and passed the Qualified Rigger Level 1 course. Students that pass this exam receive the Certified Rigger Level 1 designation valid for 2 years.
The Online Certified Rigger Level 1 Renewal course is for individuals who have a current Certified Rigger 1 Certification and need to renew it. Upon successful completion you'll receive a new certificate valid for 2 years.
Our 4 hour Hand Signal Training Course provides the training necessary to signal a crane and to be a designated spotter for a crane.

This 4 hour course covers the OSHA Fall Protection Standard for construction and an overview of fall protection methods. Course topics include principles of fall protection, components and limitations of fall arrest systems, and OSHA Standards and policies regarding fall protection.
