Onsite Rigging Courses Offered
Certified Rigger Level 1
Our Certified Rigger Level 1 Course provides the necessary training to meet the OSHA standards of a Certified Rigger. This 6-hour onsite course includes classroom instruction and practical instruction and testing. This certification is valid for 2 years. Certificate, wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
California Certified Rigger Level 1
Our California Certified Rigger Level 1 course is recommended for individuals working in California and provides the necessary training to meet Cal/OSHA Title 8 Regulations of a Certified Rigger. This 6-hour onsite course includes classroom and practical instruction and testing. This certification is valid for 2 years. Certificate, wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
Maryland Certified Rigger Level 1
Our Maryland Certified Rigger Level 1 course is recommended for individuals working in Maryland and provides the necessary training to meet Maryland Title 9 Regulations of a Certified Rigger. This 6-hour onsite course includes classroom and practical instruction and testing. This certification is valid for 2 years. Certificate, wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
Certified Rigger Level 1 (Cal Rigger Level 1 or Maryland Rigger Level 1) and Certified Signal Person Combo Class
Our Signal Person course provides the OSHA training necessary to signal a crane and to be a designated spotter for a crane operator. This 2-3 course would be held immediately after the Certified Rigger Level 1 course and includes classroom and practical instruction, written and practical testing. This certification is valid for 2 years. Certificate, wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
Certified Rigger Level 2
Participants in this course must have passed our Level 1 Certified Rigging training, Certified Crane Signal Training, and have a minimum of 2 years of rigging experience. The course covers crane awareness and teaches the students how to help scope out the rigging project to assist in creating a lift plan and work sheets for calculating the weight and center of gravity of loads, assessing the load connection points and Critical Lift information.
We discuss the 4 categories of OSHA and how they work together and alongside each other and following ASME Standards ASME P30.1, B30.1, B30.2, B30.3, B30.5, B30.9, B30.16, B30.20, B30.23, B30.26. This certification is valid for 3 years. Certificate, wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
Master Rigger
Participants in this 1-day course must already be a Certified Rigger Level 2 and Signal Person with a minimum of 2 years rigging experience. Our Master Rigger instructor will teach advanced rigging principles and methods. Riggers learn how to tail, drift, jack and roll a load, mutable crane lifts, and 2 crane lifts. This certification is valid for 3 years. Certificate, gold wallet card and hard hat sticker is included.
